  • Overview

    Celldex Therapeutics is seeking a scientist to work on multiple projects in our New Haven, CT research facility

    Responsibilities

    The scientist will design, execute, analyze and interpret experiments using in-vitro and ex-vivo assays to support antibody discovery, lead identification and characterization, and translational research efforts for clinical development candidates.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills:

    • Experience with developing in vitro cell-based and biochemical assays using methods such as ELISA, flow cytometry, MSD, immunoblotting and immunoprecipitation is highly desired
    • Experience in molecular and cellular immunology, immunophenotyping and primary immune cell culture is highly desired
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
    • Will have ownership of several projects. Must have high self-motivation and the ability to multi-task.
    • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Education/Experience:

    • BS/MS degree in biological sciences or similar area
    • 3+ years of industry experience in research
    • Prior experience in the development of monoclonal antibody and/or other biologic drug candidates is a plus
    • Proficiency in molecular biology techniques, including RNA isolation, PCR, vector and primer design, DNA, protein and antibody sequence analysis, recombinant protein expression.
