  • Materials Handling Intern

  • Overview

    The Intern will perform routine work with Materials Management (MM) and be exposed to materials shipping and receiving products/materials associated with biomanufacturing process.  This is a paid internship located at the Fall River office.


    • Assisting in shipping of Clinical Drug Product and non-critical shipments.
    • Supporting in Quarantining and Releasing of raw materials.
    • Issuing requested raw material to requesting departments, filing, binder upkeep.
    • Helping with deliveries, distributing incoming packages,
    • Conducting weekly cleaning of MM areas and MM transport carts and general upkeep of MM areas.



    • Intern must maintain enrollment at an accredited College/University in a B.A, B.S, or AS degree in Life Science or related field or be 1/3 completed in a biotechnology certificate program.
    • Intern must maintain and possess a minimum 3.0 GPA.
    • Interns must be approved by Massachusetts Life Science Center Internship Challenge.
    • Must possess basic computer skills.
    • Able to work in a cold room, climb a 5-step ladder, and lift 30 lbs.
